Controls Engineer - Automotive Field

Activities: Creation of requirement analyzes and definition of software requirements for automatic passenger car transmissions. Planning and preparation of software release deliveries. Participation in the creation of functional concepts and cooperation in the design of software functions (interfaces, diagnostics, testers). Commissioning and calibration of sub-systems and functions in the entire vehicle and in the laboratory. Planning and implementation of manual and automated test cases on the system- and overall vehicle level as well as corresponding test documentation. Participation in test drives. Documentation of configuration, updating of prototypes and test vehicles (hardware, software). Problem management (troubleshooting, updating error databases). Requirements: Degree in Electronics / physical engineering / automotive engineering or comparable professional education. Good knowledge of transmission and automotive engineering. Knowledge of MS Office, INCA, MDA, CanApe, Vector tools, IBM DOORS, Jira. Knowledge of communication protocols in automotive sector (UDS, OBD, CAN). Knowledge of English language. Knowledge of German language is a plus. High communication skills, flexibility and willingness to travel. Valid driving license for passenger cars / commercial cars. Knowledge of ASPICE.
