Controller

Role and Responsibilities Process Accounts Payable for Jefferies GmbH (including branches).
Support the production of month-end Balance Sheet and Income Statement with analytical review and commentary for material month-on-month (and quarter-on-quarter) movements (for GmbH and its branches).
Assist in the management of outsourced functions of Jefferies GmbH.
Support the following audits: Year-end audits.
Securities trading act (WPHG) audits.
Internal audit (for JEG and branches).

Requirements Strong financial and analytical skills.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Minimum 3 years relevant work experience.
Fluent in English; German language skills would be beneficial but not mandatory.
Self-motivated with the ability to deal with multiple commitments/deadlines.
Strong organizational skills.
Location of Work This role is based in Milan or Rome and will be office-based or flexible working with a blend of home and office, subject to Jefferies operational requirements.
