The Knowledge Services (KS) business unit operates within IET Gas Technology Services Division of Baker Hughes and incorporates the capabilities and portfolio of Customer Training, Digital Services, Advanced Engineering and Advisory Services to create a new commercial offering and portfolio.
Within the new Outcome Based Services (OBS) commercial model, KS aims to use BH OEM knowledge and digital capabilities to create a new value proposition for our customers, supporting them in achieving specific KPIs such as efficiency, productivity, and emissions reduction, and creating commercial reward schemes linked to these.
Partner with the best Reporting to the Knowledge Services Delivery Leader, the Control System Technical Trainer will contribute to the design, preparation, and delivery of training courses aimed at Baker Hughes Customers' personnel. The courses will cover control and operational training on gas turbines, steam turbines, and compressors.
The Technical Trainer will also support Customer Training (CT) product innovation and sustain our business growth and market penetration. The development of talent is a key pillar for the Knowledge Services strategy, and the market conditions with new workers' generations stepping in create new opportunities and requirements in terms of learning solutions. Contributing to improve the learning design and innovate the CT solutions will be part of the priorities for this role.
As a Control System Technical Trainer, you will be responsible for: Providing project-specific training for control systems of aeroderivative and heavy-duty gas turbines, steam turbines, and/or compressors to customers worldwide.Compiling the project-specific training manual by reviewing engineering product and operational data before the training.Cooperating with project managers to clarify and fine-tune training schedules as well as project-specific training contents.Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will:
