Great opportunity to work as a Control, Instrumentation & Electrical Engineer for a reputable Company involved in the exploration, production, and transportation of crude oil and natural gas.
Responsibilities: Ensure that instrumentation and control systems are designed, inspected, and installed in compliance with applicable codes and standards.Provide control, electrical, and instrumentation engineering support to the project team to ensure that the project delivers the required benefits and is fit for purpose.Review, supervise, and approve EPIC contractor control and instrumentation engineering content as required.Ensure that any 3rd party control, electrical, and instrumentation engineering contractors/suppliers adhere to the project technical specifications required.Requirements: Minimum Bachelor or high diploma in instrumentation and control engineering or electrical engineering.10+ years' industry experience; experience in offshore, brown fields upgrading is preferred.Knowledge of codes and standards related to instrumentation and control systems, such as ISA, IEC, and NEC.Experience in:Designing control systems, sizing and selecting instruments, cables, etc.Preparing process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), systems/material specification/POs, TDS, and IDS for instrumentation electrical and communication equipment.Evaluating safety system design and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure reliable integration with the process control system.Supervising inspection, installation, and testing system performance.Experience in electrical and telecom is preferred.Fluency in Italian OR English.Our role in supporting diversity and inclusion As an international workforce business, we are committed to sourcing personnel that reflects the diversity and values of our client base but also that of Orion Group.
