ABOUT THE ROLE
LOCATION : Milan, HQ (3 days x week at the office)
SALARY RANGE : €35.000 - €40.000 (but we will determine the offer based on experience and seniority)
Meet your team : Tour Operator
We're looking for a highly motivated, ambitious, and effective Contract Manager to join our Global Product team, responsible for delivering unique, best-in-class travel experiences for our WeRoaders.
As a Contract Manager you will be responsible for supporting WeRoad as we scale through building a strong network with the best suppliers around the world.
You'll manage sourcing, negotiation, contracting, itinerary development, and live tour operations for your region and be the team expert on all operations related to LATAM portfolio.
What you'll do :
Partner management and margins : Manage a portfolio of existing partners and be responsible for contracting within your region, securing the best terms and rates for WeRoad and WeRoaders.
Using your strong negotiation skills, you'll be responsible for working to improve WeRoad product margins, and with the Regional Managers, be accountable for commercial performance.
You'll support new partners during the onboarding process and hold regular meetings to develop and train the partner on WeRoad and our target market, and the supplier dashboard.
You will identify opportunities to maximize performance of each partner by monitoring results and proposing changes and improvements.
You'll be responsible for sourcing new partnerships, with the most creative, and professional suppliers in the industry.
You'll be skilled at quickly building rapport, and able to accurately assess a partners' standards, leading to a strong pipeline to support the future success of WeRoad.
You will maintain WeRoad internal files and ensure their accuracy.
Itinerary management : You'll be responsible for delivering top quality itineraries and implementing improvements with your team to ensure customer experience is paramount and WeRoad is a provider of world leading experiences in LATAM.
You'll be accountable for reporting on product quality KPIs with your Regional Manager.
You'll work with others in your team to ensure best seasonality, holidays, and flights are considered to maximize experience for customers, and growth of your portfolio.
Operations Management : You'll be responsible for continuously improving and developing new processes for the tour operating team to ensure efficiency as we scale.
You will work with the rest of the WeRoad team to proactively solve problems on live tour operations, ensuring high quality of customer experience.
Be a part of our crisis management team, and support our emergency process and shifts as required on rotation amongst the team.
Together with the rest of the team you'll help guarantee global 24 / 7 assistance to our tours.
You'll work closely with the Head of Tour Operator team to develop a strong crisis management procedure, and with partners to continuously improve and train on the processes.
You'll work closely with the Ambassador community and customer care team, developing the feedback loop and ensuring product quality is paramount.
What we're looking for :
3 years of experience as a product manager / buyer (Preferably in the Tour Operator / Travel environment).
Experience in contracting products in the LATAM region is a big plus.
You have advanced commercial and negotiating skills.
Fluency in English and Spanish. Italian is not required.
You are an excellent relationship builder, and someone who will relish the opportunity to build strong, profitable, long-term relationships for WeRoad with external partners.
Analytical and numerical, you have worked with KPIs, are target driven and always aim to exceed expectations.
Must be self-motivated, organized, proactive, team player, hands-on and results-driven.
You are detail oriented, and believe that quality is in the finer details.
Good knowledge of Google sheets.
You have experience in a fast-paced, dynamic startup scale-up environment, and thrive under pressure.
You are comfortable in being one of the main points of contact for crisis / emergencies.
