TheContract Manager workson Projects and assists the ProjectManager/Project Director in ensuring the effective and efficient administrationof the main Contract and, if applicable, consortium or joint venture agreements.Main Activities and ResponsibilitiesToassist the PM/PD and the other members of the Project Team in handling the contractuallyrelevant matters.Toparticipate in the negotiation and finalization of contract amendments,supported by the Contract Negotiator as required.Toparticipate in the formalisation and negotiation of change orders and tosupport the Claim Management Department in the preparation of claims.Toidentify the contractual provisions which must be transferred to subcontractorsand convey such provisions to the Project Subcontracting Manager/Coordinator inorder to finalize the Project Special Subcontracting ConditionsToidentify the contractual provisions which must be transferred to vendors andconvey such provisions to the Project Procurement Manager/Coordinator in orderto finalize the Special Purchase ConditionsTokeep record of the cases when either clients or consortium / JV partners fail to comply with their contractualobligations, assess the consequences thereof in relation to cost and time withthe support of the Claim Management Department and inform the PM/PD in order to duly notifythe involved parties.Toprepare in advance the "tools" to be used during the course of the Project, inparticular: the diagram of the Contract, the list of notices and communicationsunder the Contract, the wording of the standard notices.Todraft the correspondence concerning contractual matters.Toidentify, with the support of the members of the Project Team, the delays and disruptionsattributable to Client's or partners' responsibilities or to "force majeure"and duly notify the same.Toinform promptly Legal Affairs, Contracts and Claim Management when disputeswith Clients and partners are likely to result in litigation proceedings.Tosupport Legal Affair, Contracts and Claim Management in the management oflitigation proceeding; to support Project Risk/Opportunity Management inquantitative and qualitative evaluation of project risk during the executivephase, and to support the Project Control Manager in the management of theinvoices issued to the Clients and/or Partners.Personal Attributes:Degree in either engineering disciplineor Law;8/10 years experience in a similar rolein multinational and EPC business context;Excellent communication, leadership andmanagement attitudes;Proficient in English - both speaking and writingThirdlanguage possibly requiredTecnimont is an EPC contractor in Oil&Gas,Petrochemicals, Fertilizers and Power sectors.
