**Accountabilities**
Support the Project Manager during the bidding process, reviewing the draft contracts and specifications proposed by the Customer, highlighting any clarifications to be obtained and identifying specific monitoring/mitigation actions to be put in place during project execution; Provide the Procurement Manager with the flow-down of the Client's contractual requirements, to ensure that contractual obligations entered into with the Customer are reflected and reversed specularly on the related procurement contracts, while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and Group policies; Support the Project Manager in the effective execution of the supply in fulfillment of contractual obligations and in line with relevant business rules and processes.
To this end, he/she participates in project meetings pertaining to issues of potential contractual impact, formulates recommendations for taking appropriate and timely actions, prepares and/or reviews correspondence related to contractual issues, identifies risks and opportunities related to contract management and subsequent mitigation actions; Support the Project Manager in the management of claims to and from clients and partners, assisting him/her in the examination of issues with respect to the contract scope and in the formulation of contents supporting the claim; Manage, jointly with the project manager and in coordination with the legal and procurement departments, claims to suppliers for breach of contract; Collaborate with other business units (legal, compliance, administration, etc.)
in order to provide the project manager with strong, operationally effective and viable contractual solutions.
**Required Skills/Knowledge**
- At least 3 years' experience in the role matured in an international environment within the management of complex supply projects including large plants engineering, dealing with external stakeholders (Clients/ Main Subcontractors),
- Skilled in Project Management and Risk management,
- Strong communication skills,
- Predisposition to interpersonal relations and ability to maintain an open and direct dialogue and mediation skills,
- Aptitude to work in a team,
- Ability to build interpersonal relationships and networking,
- Ability to adapt to change in highly dynamic and complex environments,
- Operational autonomy, methodicity, organizational and time management skills,
- Proactivity, commitment and solution/results orientation,
- Willing to travel in Italy and abroad
- High level of integrity and ethics.
**Education/Qualifications**
Master's degree in law and/or engineering background with experience in contract management,
Knowledge of Public Procurement Law,
Knowledge of general contractual standards,
Knowledge of the Office package
Effective written and verbal communication in Italian and English
**Languages**
Fluent Knowledge of English (written & spoken).
