About the Role We are offering an exciting internship opportunity for a Continuous Improvement Engineer based at our Altopascio facility, where some of the world's most advanced tissue and hygiene products are manufactured. In this role, you will work alongside a diverse team of experts committed to innovation and operational excellence. Your focus will be on supporting the continuous improvement efforts across various production processes, specifically within our paper mill operations.
This internship will provide valuable hands-on experience in lean manufacturing, process optimization, and data-driven problem solving, laying the foundation for a successful career in industrial engineering, manufacturing, or operations management.

What You Will Do Support the analysis and monitoring of production and business processes.
Identify improvement opportunities and propose innovative solutions.
Collaborate with internal teams to implement continuous improvement projects.
Collect and analyze data to measure performance and the effectiveness of initiatives.
Participate in workshops and training activities on continuous improvement methodologies.
Assist in documenting procedures and operational standards.
Create training materials and procedures for the new paper mill production machine.
Support in training paper mill operators.
Who You Are: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or related fields.
Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (TPM or others) is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a team with excellent communication skills.
Good time management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools.
