The Content Manager works with the local creative community to develop and produce strategic long-form, live events, serialized formats, or single short-form videos and is responsible for the creative quality, distinctiveness, strength of narrative storytelling, and execution.She/He works closely with the Head of Content with the end goal of reaching more viewers and engaging them for as long as possible.
The content output should appeal first and foremost to key local audiences and, when possible, also to international viewers.She/He develops and executes content pieces and works closely with the Programming and Communications teams to meet audience objectives and the needs of the business.All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:Content DevelopmentWorks closely with the Head of Content to develop and produce innovative, high-quality content that is always in line with the brand attitudes, values, and quality standards of Red Bull.
Ensure that all productions are executed in line with the Red Bull Media House Production Management guidelines and requirements (i.e., proper rights clearance, delivery standards, metadata, production schedules, budgets, etc.).
Executes productions from concept phase to final delivery, aligned with the defined holistic content strategy for that market.Content Production and Project ManagementWorks with top production partners and talent in the local market to deliver state-of-the-art content from editorial to technical perspectives.
Builds and maintains a network of companies, creative professionals, agencies, co-producers, and partners within the specific country.
Collaborates regularly with international Red Bull producers, ensuring full transparency regarding project status and timelines.
Identifies and develops new story angles for existing projects, genres, and recurring content opportunities (Athlete Projects, Opinion Leaders, Events, Team Presentations, On Premise, Consumption Occasions, etc.).
Collaborates with the international Red Bull TV Live team when live events take place in the country.Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:Likely to be a senior content author, creative producer, or executive producer by background, who has a proven track record for developing and executing world-class content for target audiences in the market.5+ years overall media employment in TV / OTT productions, commissioning, or similar, ideally in factual entertainment, documentary, or reality.Most recent work experience preferably as a staff member of a major TV network or large production company, or uninterrupted freelance work for top-tier companies.Proven track record and passion for developing and producing distinctive content, long-form and short-form.Familiarity with the regional content market (from TV to OTT and social networks), including relationships within the local creative community (production companies, talent, artists, musicians, etc.
).Sound knowledge of the fundamental principles of storytelling in long and short-form programming.Editorial expertise, with the ability to evaluate and give clear, constructive feedback on ideas, treatments, productions, etc.Skills in coordinating and guiding production partners and teams from concept development phase through to production and delivery.Experience in executing multiple productions, budgets, and partners; with a broad knowledge of all media production methods for creation and delivery essential.Experience with live production is an advantage.
Additional experience in writing for television, filming, editing, production management, and other aspects of development and production is useful.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, as well as communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.University degree level education (ideally in Communications, Journalism, Film Studies, or similar).Fluency in the English language.Red Bull S.r.l.
