In 2021, SEE launched Regeneration as a Brooklyn marketplace of vintage, thrift, and upcycled fashion serving the next generation of vintage shoppers.
SEE acquired the iconic Manhattan Vintage Show in 2022 to grow its portfolio of brands and firmly declare that the future of fashion is vintage.
Manhattan Vintage produces four shows a year in New York City.
ABOUT THE ROLE SEE is looking for a Part-Time Content Creator to conceptualize and produce high-quality, engaging content on the social platforms for Artists & Fleas, Manhattan Vintage and Regeneration.
General responsibilities include content creation at the NYC market locations, video editing for Instagram Reels and TikTok, graphic creation for Instagram, social media community management, and assisting with growing our online brand presence.
Successful candidates will possess strong copywriting skills, experience with both posting and optimizing, and a visual eye.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Content Creation In partnership with the Social Media & Influencer Manager: Conceptualize, create, edit and manage compelling photo and video content optimized for SEE's marketing channels (TikTok, Instagram) Be comfortable appearing in audience-facing content Create graphics for mission-based/educational and meme content Remain up-to-date on current and emerging social, lifestyle/pop culture and fashion trends; continually provide research results to facilitate the identification of content opportunities and innovations Social Media Management In partnership with the Social Media & Influencer Manager: Collaborate and communicate directly to assist with influencer market visits Stay up-to-date on new social media tools, content techniques, and best practices Monitor competitor markets Critical Skills Exceptional organization, communication, and collaboration skills Fast learner, self-driven, and naturally curious Professional demeanor, demonstrating responsibility and dedication A strong love and understanding for all things social media, fashion and pop culture!
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND AVAILABILITY Minimum of 1-2 years in social media (fashion industry preferred) Minimum of 1-2 years' experience capturing and editing/video for social media Experience with TikTok and Instagram platforms Experience with Canva and Adobe (a plus) A love for and knowledge of the vintage category (a plus) Weekend availability to film content at our NYC locations COMPENSATION $20/hour at 15 hours per week; room for hours to increase given business needs.
