We are looking for our next Consumer Market Intelligence Business Partner!
Consumer Market Intelligence Mission Vision The Consumer Market Intelligence team (CMI) exists to bring the Italian consumer and shopper voice into the business for growth.
Our Vision is to be recognized as the market guidance of L'Oréal Italy's path to growth.
Your Role You will partner with the brand teams providing both market intelligence and consumer research to help them make data-driven decisions and identify growth opportunities.
You will oversee the ongoing market share reporting, including the design and execution of dashboards and analytics, conduct specific analyses on panel data, and collaborate in ad-hoc research projects answering briefs from the business with innovative methods and tools.
As the expert in market and consumer intelligence for your category, you will leverage our data and insights and contribute to various task forces to address specific business challenges.
These might include improving the shopper and consumer experience, both online and offline, identifying new opportunities in specific market segments or channels, locally adapting the marketing mix, optimizing the Return on Investment for our brands, and more.
Accountabilities Market performance measurement: autonomously manage periodical analysis and reporting of market data related to the category/division.
Support consumer research: collaborate with the line manager executing various qualitative and quantitative market research projects, from brief to presentation.
Integrate data from disparate sources (e.g.
market, consumer, shopper trends) into powerful insights and opportunities, and communicate with impact to drive action.
Work in team with external agencies (market research, media, consultancies) and international stakeholders in the L'Oréal Group.
Skills and Capabilities Must have: Strong numerical skills: Comfortable with managing diverse sets of quantitative data, and using this information to inform and support business objectives.
Works autonomously with retail and consumer panel data (e.g.
Circana, Nielsen, IQVIA, ...) applying various data analysis and visualization techniques (e.g.
PowerBI, advanced Excel,...).
Solid project management: able to manage multiple projects and priorities, collaborating with different stakeholders.
Fluent in Italian and English.
A strong plus is: 2-3 years' relevant CMI experience, either client or agency-side.
Appreciation of various Market Research methods and tools.
Insight skills: develops and tests hypotheses and insights; uses data and insights as key milestones in decision making.
Knowledge of the beauty and skincare market.
