Their main goal is to improve busy lives with better convenient products that are uniquely delicious, healthier and beautifully designed.
They are committed to improving the nutrition, taste, anddesign of their products by launching product improvements in two-year cycles.
Their first product, Rip Van Wafels is available in 12,000 Starbucks locations nationwide and has become Silicon Valleys #1 snack.
The company has grown by +500% in the last three years, has made both the Inc & Forbes 30 under 30 lists, won numerous business awards and has been featured in publications such as, Techcrunch, Entrepreneur, Bon-a-Petit, and The New York Times.
The Consumer Insights Analyst will support the Rip Van Insights Manager via assessments of different types of data Amazon sales, syndicated consumption data, internal sales and publicly available information.
Areas of focus will include new product opportunity analysis and current business health.
**Responsibilities**:
Business and consumer analytics:
develop view of current state of business and what must be true to secure growth path inthe future.
Opportunity analysis:
identify innovation dig sites.
Product forms or pack types that could be created, user groups that could be served and usage occasions that could be added or exploited for growth.
Understands different market segmentation frameworks.
Testing data analytics:
Knows how to organize and manipulate data to produce clear, readable results.
Can do basic statistical analysis, including significance measures.
In-market evaluation:
Familiar with key CPG new product success criteria, like trial, repeat, additional repeat, incrementality, etc.
Can sift sales and consumption data to develop or approximate these metrics.
**Requirements**:
3-5 years of market research experience, using online data sources as well as traditional panel and consumption data.
Excel ninja.
Demonstrated excellence in data analytics.
Entrepreneurial; able to create a success path without the resources of large company.
Open, curious mind that knows how to create and use data analytics to validate ideas and create fact-based insights that will fuel future innovation efforts.
Location:
Fully Remote (work from home).
Monday-Friday within the Eastern Standard Time (EST).
