JLL is seeking a Consultant Research to reinforce our corporate research services in Italy.
He/she will be based in Milan, will report to the Head of Research Italy and with work with all JLL's Italian business units and with JLL EMEA and Global Research Group with the aim to create a clear competitive advantage for our clients through the strategic use of accurate data and innovative thinking.
**Responsibilities of a Consultant Research**:
- Understand how industry and economic factors influence investors and occupiers' strategies and actions and leverage this knowledge to create and to develop research products and tools;
- Use of advanced data visualization tools, including JLL's new and proprietary technology;
- Actively contribute to JLL's internal data management system;
- Contribute to the production of JLL papers (quarterly, half-yearly, annual reports and special ad-hoc research) across all asset classes;
- Contribute to client presentations by covering market intelligence, trends, and statistics;
- Closely track, record and update data on the Italian office and industrial commercial real estate market, including data related to properties, leases, tenants, availabilities, developments, sales and owners, the local economy, demographics and company performance, among other aspects of the market;
- Exhibiting a complete understanding of company's corporate governance policies and procedures.
**Skills and attributes of a Consultant Research**:
- An analytical mindset and ability to visualize data with strong technical skills as relates to databases, data gathering and large data sets analysis to identify trends and quality control checks;
- Digital & Innovative mindset driven;
- Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and the ability to effectively manage time and workload;
- Good communications and interpersonal skills and a desire to work within a diverse, collaborative, and driven professional environment;
- Demonstrated passion in real estate with a strong commitment to learning micro
- and macro-level market dynamics;
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and PowerBI;
- GIS/data viz experience preferred;
- Strong quantitative skillset with ability to identify new insights and trends through data analytics;
- Collaborative attitude and willingness to both work independently and as part of a dynamic team;
- Organized and proactive approach;
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
**Experience and qualifications**:
- Master's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics or related fields.
- Experience 3+ years (min) in commercial real estate research or research related fields in an advisory/consultancy environment.
- Proficient in English, both written and oral.
