Posting Date: 12 Sep 2024 City: Genova Location: Genova, IT, 16129 Roma, IT, 144 Contract Type: Permanent Division: Infrastructure Level of experience: Senior RINA is currently recruiting for a Construction Supervision Accountant to join its office in Genoa or Rome, Italy within the Infrastructure Division.
Mission This role focuses on monitoring the economic progress of the project and the accounting of works, both in terms of the accounts payable and accounts receivable cycles.
Additionally, the role involves supporting the dedicated function in industrial accounting and management control activities.
Key Accountabilities Handle the accounting of works, updating projects and accounts based on requested variations, applying the contractual price list according to the rules of public procurement accounting.
Prepare estimated metric computations.
Monitor on-site activities.
Prepare passive SIL (Structured Information Language) and SAL (Simplified Acquisition Logistic) documents, sharing information on work progress with the Site Director and Site Manager.
Verify the update of works and any variations on technical drawings.
Allocate costs and revenues to cost centers.
Support the Project Controller in preparing the project budget and subsequent updates.
Verify, in coordination with the Works Management, the documentation related to SAL.
Qualifications Previous work experience ranging from 5 to 10 years in the infrastructure sector.
Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Familiarity with technical standards for the assessment of works (specifications).
Excellent proficiency in programs such as STR Vision, Primus.
