In this role, you will be responsible for the overall success of the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) aspects of the data centre construction project. You will act as the primary point of contact for the client, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities: Track Progress and Reporting: Develop and maintain a comprehensive project schedule and budget. Track progress against these baselines, identifying and mitigating potential risks and delays. Prepare regular reports for the client and internal stakeholders, keeping everyone informed of project status.
Quality Tracking: Implement and oversee a robust quality control program. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure all construction activities adhere to project specifications and industry standards.
Escalation Management: Proactively identify and address potential issues. Effectively manage escalation processes, working with internal and external stakeholders to resolve problems quickly and efficiently.
Equipment Tracking: Manage the procurement, delivery, and installation of all MEP equipment. Ensure all equipment is delivered on time, meets specifications, and is properly installed and commissioned.
Requirements: Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, with a proven track record of success in delivering complex projects.
Extensive experience in data centre construction, with a deep understanding of MEP systems and their integration.
Strong understanding of project management principles, including scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and quality control.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
The ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders is essential.
Proficient in written and spoken Italian and English.
