We are looking for a mechanical engineer who will be responsible for the installation of mechanical systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation, as well as identifying improvement opportunities, thereby increasing efficiency and reducing costs. The Engineer will have knowledge of mechanical equipment and provide technical support to operations and maintenance departments. Additionally, the Engineer will have the opportunity to deepen his/her knowledge of support equipment and safety protocols, staying up to date on the latest technologies and trends in the industry.
Responsibilities: Follow installation of mechanical systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation. Ensure that projects comply with all applicable standards, codes, and regulations. Follow on construction site the status of infrastructure/equipment installation. Provide standards and specifications for engineering and design development for the construction and installation of new infrastructure. Define and draft procedures for testing and commissioning of mechanical systems. Coordinate and effectively communicate with various stakeholders - Operations, Maintenance, Design, Construction, Purchasing, Production and all external suppliers - to achieve objectives. Conduct timely review of design packages and provide documented comments and feedback as needed. Analyze projects to identify improvement actions that ensure higher performance, efficiency gains, reduced maintenance interventions, and cost savings. Support Operations in problem analysis. Provide technical support to the Procurement function for supplier selection and qualification. Conduct risk and failure analysis in order to eliminate and/or mitigate them. Requirements: Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. 1 - 3 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in the semiconductor industry. Ability to prioritize and plan related work activities. Excellent organizational skills and results-oriented. Excellent communication skills and good teamwork abilities. Good knowledge of the English language, written and spoken English is mandatory. You will be responsible for the construction & installation of different mechanical systems such as: Compressed Dry Air, Exhaust systems, Make Up Air Units, Clean Room construction & qualification, Process cooling water, Sprinkler, cold and hot water exchanger, etc…
