The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic.The position will be based in Naples, Genoa or Piossasco (TO), Italy.Mission:The realization of a complex project (large project size, complex technological systems or involving international companies or new clients to Hitachi Rail) by ensuring the execution of all jobs onsite.Accountabilities:To coordinate and supervise onsite railway construction projects carried out by subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project, safety, quality and time requirements;To act and coordinate with the project team, dealing with customers, authorities, partners, contractors and subcontractors;To coordinate and supervise all site activities including civil and technological works in accordance with the project delivery plan;To cooperate with the project team to define the planning and interface milestones with other parties involved in the project in case of delay;To deal with all stakeholders to identify and execute the best recovery plan for the project;To ensure optimization and update of resources (internal or external/subcontractors) on the project, based on the project budget;To cooperate with the HSE department to define the HSE Management plan;To ensure that the rules outlined by the HSE Management plan are implemented onsite;To provide and share with the functional manager the evaluation of resources performance;To cooperate with supply planning to define the logistic plan consistent with the project plan;To define and implement the work progress tool for construction activities;To maintain forecasts less than or equal to budget for the assigned projects;To ensure compliance with project planning;To verify the development of people under his/her control;To ensure HSE compliance;Required Skills/Knowledge:5 to 8 years of experience (minimum 5 years in infrastructure companies);Highly motivated and able to work with minimum supervision;Good communication skills;Demonstrates perseverance, patience, and commitment for long-term success;Good organization/time management;Enjoys challenges and problem-solving;Ability to work well under pressure;Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;Highly organized and methodical;Education:Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering;Languages:English proficiency;Fluency in Spanish or French (plus);We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those under consideration will be contacted.It is our commitment at Hitachi Rail to create a diverse environment and we are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
