Construction Manager As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for managing and leading all the construction activities at the site. You will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all construction subcontractors with the aim to ensure the plant is connected on time while safety and quality standards are respected. As a Company representative, it is requested that the CM liaise with the client daily and hold, jointly with the Project Manager, weekly coordination meetings to present the project's progress. Responsibilities: Study project SOW including engineering drawings, BOM, material purchase orders, and subcontract requisitions. Report project progress to the PM daily and weekly on the company's forms. Verify subcontractors' productivity by tracking their progress daily. Develop a recovery plan with the PM if productivity is low and schedule slippage is foreseen. Oversee subcontractor's installation works with site engineers, checking quality and adherence to the design. Issue nonconformity to subcontractors in case of major findings. Coordinate the site team and issue official communication in case of contract violation by any subcontractor. Report daily on the material received at the site. Oversee and verify quality and quantities of delivered materials. Coordinate with the logistic assistant to hand over materials to subcontractors. Liaise with suppliers to arrange material deliveries. Find cost-effective solutions for construction needs. Obtain at least three offers for minor works/supplies, reporting results to the PM. Monitor compliance with company technical requirements, norms, and standards. Develop and implement Project Quality plan and Control Procedures. Ensure appropriate procedures and reporting are followed in case of damages or accidents, in collaboration with the HSE department. Ensure final documentation is delivered by subcontractors according to company standards. Manage site facilities technically and administratively, including offices, utilities, and cleaning activities. Ensure a smooth handover of the plant to the asset-management department. Attend weekly client meetings. Liaise with DL and CSE as necessary. Be nominated as the safety responsible for the site. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years' experience on construction sites. Must have experience in utility-scale Solar Power Plants. University Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering is a plus. Excellent use of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel); MS Project is a plus. Good knowledge of AUTOCAD. Good level of English is a must. Minimum Italian language is requested.
