For our own projects, we are looking for: Construction Director. MISSION: We are seeking a Construction Director with experience in organizing and managing construction sites, supervising work teams, and overseeing civil works activities.
The candidate will be responsible for the proper execution of the works, respecting planned timelines and budgets, while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
TASKS Plan, coordinate, and monitor project progress.Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to established technical specifications.Collaborate with the engineering and construction team on site for effective project implementation.Manage the technical and administrative documentation necessary for proper site operations.Manage project resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment, to optimize efficiency within contractual deadlines.Oversee urbanization activities, understanding technical and regulatory aspects.Identify, analyze, and manage project risks, developing mitigation plans to ensure project success.Prepare and present periodic progress reports to the internal E&C team.Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including internal TEPIT procedures, and company quality standards.Act as an interface between the client and subcontractors for planning, controlling, and executing the works according to the project.Maintain a log of site activities, ensuring subcontractor execution aligns with the project plan and contractual requirements.TECHNICAL SKILLS Degree in Engineering, preferably Civil/Building, or equivalent qualification.Active enrolment in the Register of Engineers.A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in the role of Construction Director, as required by Italian DPR 380/01 regulations.In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and construction site management practices.Strong organizational and planning skills, with great attention to detail.Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to manage interpersonal relationships.Flexibility and ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.Proficiency in standard and commonly used software tools, such as Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and Internet applications.English language proficiency.OTHER DETAILS Job Location: Guardia Perticara (Potenza), Italy.Contract Duration: 1 year.Starting Date: February 2025.Profile Middle East upholds workplace equality and diversity, assessing candidates solely on merit and potential.
