We are currently seeking a BIM - Construction Digital Engineer in the field of engineering and/or construction, who plays a key role in promoting and empowering digitalization within the construction context in both home office and site, aiming to increase efficiency and performance of Technip Energies project execution, perfectly in line with Company vision. The resource reports directly to the EasyPlant Program Manager within the CMC – Construction Method Center, based in Rome, Italy. The CMC is part of Global Construction within Delivery Excellence, developing and deploying construction engineering solutions to better prepare & control construction activities and finally optimize construction costs & duration.
In particular, the BIM - Construction Digital Engineer is involved in essential initiatives linked to: Setup and standardize BIM coordination workflows Data Management using BI solutions Deploy advanced working packaging (AWP) methodology on EPC project Be part of development team using AGILE methodology About the Job
After a period of extensive knowledge acquisition on EasyPlant Suite functionalities, the resource takes a role in the 3D Construction & Technologies team supporting the Construction Digital Factory. As a member of the Team, he/she follows a growing path:
Study and setup BIM workflows to cover project requirements Build and Run dashboards using BI solution Support construction activities using BIM solutions Be part of an AGILE team to perform testing activities of new/enhanced features, writing and executing well-structured test plans and interacting with the team to de-bug the solution and ensure it is robust and reliable. This process occurs in the frame of Agile methodology which brings a structured and effective approach to development scope, and under a TEN Global Governance. In particular, his/her duties are the following:
Analysis of the requirements and contribution to definition of new work process or modification of the existing processes Produce detailed functional specification answering business requirements Collaborate with their agile team to detail and plan user stories with acceptance criteria within the backlog Participate in agile team meetings for program backlog refinement and preparation before the Program Increment planning event Assist the team on daily basis, providing the necessary clarifications to define the story estimates and sequencing Conduct user acceptance test before final product release and support the deployment of new features Communication, demonstration and promotion of new solutions using new/existing design tools All the above steps provide enough competence to be then engaged as EasyPlant 3D Coordinator on a project, joining the construction site as soon as required. Within the Project, he/she is accountable for the set-up, deployment and operation of the EasyPlant suite:
Coordinate BIM 3D models to cover construction requirements using BIM software Share feedback and requirements to discipline leaders Collect and Prepare the set-up data, with proper control on quality and integrity, interacting with engineering, planning and construction representatives Grant any kind of Site activities Reporting is properly updated and shared to all expected parties Provide communication and functional training to site users Assist site/yard users for all requests related to the Construction tools We offer you not only a job but an inspiring journey in a truly global environment where you team up to break down boundaries thanks to the innovation, creativity and pioneer spirit which drive our people.
About You

High School Technical Diploma / Bachelor Degree in Engineering disciplines Experience with use of the BIM tool Autodesk Navisworks Experience with use of BIM - CDE (Common data environment) Experience with use of Power Platform (Power App, Power Automate, Power BI) Safe Agile certification (nice to have) Knowledge in IT tools and Office suite Familiarity with Construction topics Fluency in spoken and written English Good analytical, organizational, communication, and presentation skills Passion for technology and digitalization Full availability to move abroad, even for long term assignment and with no preclusion to specific locations Experience as Project Engineer, Construction Engineer or Planning Engineer (nice to have) What's next?
