Job Description
The Concierge Manager Global Premium Yacht's primary purpose is to create sales leads, closeness to yacht end customers, and provide market intelligence. The candidate needs to be both technically adept and able to sell (think Vorwerk Foletto door-to-door sales). The role will primarily be 90% in the field - on board yachts, marinas, events, yacht shows, yacht management companies, shipyards, etc. A high level of autonomy to seek out new opportunities and contacts, as well as self-motivation, are considered essential. The candidate needs to have sufficient technical knowledge to understand issues, check alarm history, and check the connectivity status, for example.
Responsibilities Technical Check if any technical issues are open - route via 1st Level/YCCC Check alarm history Update engine running hours Check if software update on CDB is available Check connectivity on board Advise on operating and maintenance manuals, as well as fluids and lubes Check open campaigns, modifications, and service information letters On board training & familiarisation Knowledge of Team Italia bridges Sales Generating leads for EPC, VCA, and other service products for yachts e.g. chromed cylinder heads, on board spare parts kits, re-engineering, etc. Keep customer contact & vessel data updated in the master system CEC Update warranty data (via vessel handover document) Act as an ambassador for mtu brand Engagement with key decision-makers (crews, owners, designers/architects, yacht management companies, shipyards) Market intelligence & events/yacht shows Merchandise Skills Fluent in English & Italian (other languages preferred e.g. French, Spanish, German) High level of self-motivation and proactivity Excellent communicator Quick to create rapport and new business relationships Technically sound knowledge Job Category
