Our Recruitment Engineers select the best IT profiles for prestigious IT consulting firms, banks, service companies, manufacturing groups, start-ups of excellence and digital DNA companies.About the Company: for a corporation specialized in imaging techniques, our Recruitment Engineers are looking for a Computer Vision Research Specialist.Core Responsibilities:Perform applied research on state-of-the-art themes in Computer Vision, applied to different contexts.Support the Manager in the creation of a technical roadmap, proposing innovative technologies or methodologies, aimed at achieving business goals and short, medium, and long-term objectives.Propose, design implement solutions to meet the needs and objectives, using the defined tools, methods, and practices including QA, source code repositories, issue tracking, and code reviewing.Embrace the resolution of a problem by following a quick methodological guess-and-check approach.Work with Product Owner, Technical Coordinator, and Manager to ensure that produced software/deployed methodologies meet technological and business vision and Solution Development Center needs; ensure that software/methodologies are delivered against milestones and planned deadlines; ensure software/methodologies are delivered according to team backlog priorities.Work closely with a team of scientists and engineers with diverse backgrounds in areas such as Computer Vision, Robotics, Machine Learning, IoT, Smart Data System, and Distributed Learning.Must Have:3-5 years of research experience.3 or more years of company experience in applied computer vision and related fields.Knowledge and some degree of experience in the following fields: object and person recognition in challenging contexts, activity recognition, semantic scene reconstruction, object tracking, object segmentation.Knowledge of CV theory and techniques.AI Frameworks (Tensorflow/Keras, PyTorch).Some degree of knowledge in tools for virtual environment creation and synthetic dataset generation (Unity, Unreal Engine, Omniverse).Machine learning theoretical knowledge (Supervised learning, Unsupervised learning, Semi-supervised learning, Deep learning ...).Knowledge of Neural Network Architectures (RNN, CNN, ANN, GAN, LSTM, ...).Knowledge of Image processing techniques.Knowledge of ML and CV libraries (OpenCV, scikit, ...).Linux (Ubuntu, Unix shell, BASH scripting, ...).Fluency in Python, C++, and scripting (e.g., shell).Experience in software development integration in applied projects.Nice to Have:PhD in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Cognitive Robotics, or related fields.Understanding agile process frameworks including Scrum and Kanban.Understanding of virtualization and containerization (e.g., Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes), issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira), and knowledge management tools (e.g., Confluence).Knowledge of embedded computing boards such as Nvidia Jetson boards.Some degree of knowledge in thermal cameras and RGBD-Thermal in Computer Vision.Location: RomeFurther Information: Smart-working available #J-18808-Ljbffr
