We are seeking an experienced computational mechanics engineer to collaborate tightly with our team of software developers.
The ideal candidate will contribute to creating functional prototypes and offer structural insights and feedback.Sounds Nice?
Check the following requirements:Degree in Engineering (structures, aerospace, mechanics, naval, etc)Experience implementing nonlinear solid mechanics solvers (in any language)Experience in seismic engineering research and analysis or equivalent experience in aerospace/vehicle engineeringAbility to read a research paper of solid mechanics and derive from there a working practical software implementationGood knowledge of at least one programming language, preferably Python or C++Proficient in English, spoken and written.Nice to have:Knowledge in software engineering principles (like algorithms, data structures, test-driven development, design patterns, etc…)Experience in macro-models for masonry simulationsA Phd in numerical methods applied to solid mechanics or Macro-models will be considered as a big plus.Soft Skills:Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with people from diverse cultures (our offices are globally located) and effectively lead meetings and presentationsCollaborative team playerPassionate about research and analysisSelf-motivated with a straight-to-the-point decision-making approachExcellent problem-solving abilities€35,000 - €45,000 a yearWe OfferFlex Time: you can decide when to work from 6am to 10pm.
