Enjoying opportunities to convert new technology ideas into products, you'll introduce innovations to an already pioneering business.As a Compressor Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:Performing design activitiesProviding technical guidance and sharing project related status updatesProviding engineering support to internal teams to assist with activities that span the full, technical project life-cycleOwning the delivery of technical documentation and drawings to ensure consistency with engineering policies and contractual specificationsOverseeing relationships with global and local vendors to manage time-zones and successful on-time delivery of required componentsFuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Have a Master's Degree in EngineeringHave knowledge about either Mechanical, Thermodynamic or Fluid Dynamic.Have previous work experience or knowledge about turbomachinery industry or related areas, and/or Ph.D equivalent on relevant subjects.Demonstrate experience of using CAD software such as Unigraphics or similarHave familiarity with finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD)Be a problem solver, with an analytical approach to identifying root causes and implementing solutionsHave excellent written and verbal communication skillsBe fluent in English and be able to work in the EUWork in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
