All about the role: An opportunity to join the European Product Risk & Compliance Development team working across multiple Product Lines and with Group functional teams.
What you'll do: Developing solutions to new European and global compliance legislation and standards. Working with and providing training in new compliance requirements to stakeholders throughout the Electrolux Group, including: PLs, R&D, BAs, Quality, Procurement, Factories, Service, etc. and suppliers.
Driving quality sustainability and environmental compliance projects within the Group Quality organization, creating innovative solutions for more sustainable consumer experiences and use of resources in Electrolux products and service within Europe and globally.
Developing the assessment of the environmental impact and outcomes of new products and spare parts, contributing to Electrolux Group Sustainability goals. Including managing and analyzing environmental product data, verifying alignment with global environmental standards and regulations, assessing environmental impacts using life cycle analysis (LCA).
In detail, you will: Manage new environmental and chemical compliance requirements projects, designing and implementing solutions with internal and external stakeholders, communicating progress and results.Collect and analyze environmental product data (materials, use patterns and consumption, end of life and circularity aspects) working in collaboration with PTO team and other stakeholders.Use dedicated eco-tools the develop communications dashboards to analyze environmental data, communicate KPI's and support corporate reporting on compliance goas.Assessing the environmental impacts of, materials, products, consumer-relevant appliance use patterns, and business models based on life-cycle approach by means of recognized LCA methods, tools and international databases.Perform environmental and compliance risk assessments.Assist in the presentations and technical reports for internal use, as well as supporting the preparation of technical documentation for external stakeholders including customers, suppliers reporting auditors, and authorities.Keep up-to-date view on regulatory, technical and market trends related to products environmental performances and compliance requirements.Who you are: Bachelor's degree (BSc / BEng) in: Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical or Materials Engineering, Environmental Science, or similar. A master's degree (MSc) would be an advantage.Experience in at least one of the following fields: implementation of environmental standards and regulations at product and component level; LCA application (preferably applied to the domestic goods sector); environmental risk assessment.Good project management skills.A good knowledge and understanding of data analysis and statistics, experience with databases management systems, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools, and data analytics.Understanding of materials processes and technologies.Understanding of product development processes and the appliances industry.Fluent in English, spoken and written is a must.Where you'll be: This position is based in our Porcia Plant.
