Responsibilities
:Analyze and advise on law and a wide range of legal and compliance matters relating to export controls under Italian, EU, and US regulation
Cooperate with Export Compliance Officers located in Italy, across Europe, and in the United States
Conduct export compliance training for employees; internal audits and assessments
Build and maintain a positive work relationship with government authorities engaged in export controls
Proactively manage export licenses for our Italian legal entities
You Must Have:
Completed legal education and 5 years of experience
Knowledge of export control legislation of Italy and the EU
Familiarity with the EAR and ITAR
Ability to partner with VP-level internal stakeholders
Unshakeable commitment to compliance; Commitment to ethical conduct and professional integrity
Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, manage multiple priorities and aggressively drive key initiatives
Fluency in Italian and English language required.
