This role is imperative for improving the social license to operate and reduce above-ground risks by fostering authentic, impactful and proactive engagement with our communities, government partners and stakeholders.This role aims to improve knowledge and acceptance of Santos' business through site tours, training programs, media and other community engagement initiatives.*** This role requires ad-hoc travel within the wider Roma region.*** Flexibility to attend work-related ad-hoc events during out of hours and on weekends is required.Key accountabilities include:Initiate, develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the operating regionsIdentify, address and monitor community issues and perceptions in the operating regionsEffectively assist with the facilitation of community meetings and stakeholder briefings, gathering feedback and insight to continually improve the outcomes in this areaRepresent Santos at industry forums on social and community wellbeing mattersAssist with the implementation of stakeholder engagement programs within the operating regionsAssist with community activities that serve to enhance Santos' community profileEffectively monitor and report on "social license to operate" issues to assist and inform Santos and external stakeholders when required.
