The **Human Technopole Foundation (HT)** is an interdisciplinary research institute, created and supported by the Italian government, whose aim is to develop innovative strategies to promote human health and healthy aging through a multidisciplinary and integrated approach, combining genomics, computational biology, structural biology, neuroscience and health data science.
The Human Technopole Foundation is looking for a **Communications & External Relations Intern** to support its internal and external communication activities.
The Communications & External Relations Area works closely with all Research Groups and Facilities, Departments and Areas at Human Technopole and covers a wide range of tasks including: stakeholder management, external/internal communications, event organisation, website and social media management, outreach & education activities and corporate brand identity.
The Communications & External Relations Intern will actively contribute to the everyday tasks of a busy and dynamic team, supporting different team members in their activities. The internship is intended as a learning and development opportunity for a young graduate at the start of their professional career.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Support the organisation of school visits to the institute by liaising with internal research staff.
- Support the team in the identification and update of keycontacts, relevant for specific projects & campaigns.
- Assist the team in the preparation of materials for events and visits.
- Provide general administrative support: collecting and managing printing requests from other departments, providing replies to general enquiries via shared mailboxes, ensuring timely updates of communication materials, management of gadget/stationary inventory etc.
**Mandatory requirements**:
- University degree in Humanities, Business, Marketing or other
- Fluency in English and Italian
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
**Preferred requirements**:
- Knowledge of basic graphic design and photo/video editing (ie. Canva, Photoshop)
- Previous experience in a similar role
**Organizational and social skills**:
- Organisational and problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Communication and interpersonal skills as well as a positive and can-do attitude
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment
