OverviewPost Date June 25, Number WEBIT-- Job Function Marketing Location Milano Country Italy About the Position This position serves as a key contributor in the Communications Department in the areas of event management and event communication.
The primary function is to manage Werfen participation to scientific congresses that contribute to generate awareness for the company and its products, to boost sales and to increase brand positioning.This position is responsible for the correct brand exposure during the events according to Werfen Brand & Visual Identity Guidelines, managing contract terms, handling logistics, budgeting, negotiating with sub-contractors, selecting venues, developing events materials and editing communication to clients, preparing expenditure report.The position is also responsible for the support to EEMEA Distributors in order to ensure the correctness of brand positioning and for the organization of EEMEA main events with partners and clients.Key AccountabilitiesSupports the brand and institutional communication activities (internal and external) according to the Communication Manager needsFor Italy and EEMEA, manages company events and company participation in thirt-party congresses in compliance with ECM regulation and in accordance with the Transparency Law obligationsNegotiates with the event's provider the contract terms (best positioning/brand exposure) within the allocated budget and manages the agreement administrative processFor Italy and EEMEA, manages external agencies/suppliers to develop event materials, gadgets and thradeshow booth layout/structure according to the Brand & Visual Identity GuidelinesFor Italy and EEMEA, edits the events direct mailing content according to the company format and develops social media content (EEMEA)Manages the Educational Grants providing the information to the external providersSupport the organization of company main direct events managing speakers and attendees engagement and hospitality according to the existing proceduresUpdates the company tools/platforms (Italy and EEMEA) relating to events - BrightCove, Transparency Tool, SharePoint Event Calendar, Good Morning EEMEA, etcAdministers the processing of invoicesSupports cross functional projects according to his/her own area of competenceEnsures compliance with Werfen Code of Ethics and CDM rulesNetworking/Key relationshipsInternal: Marketing (Italy and EEMEA), Sales (Italy and EEMEA), Administration, Warehouse, General Services, Compliance, Human Resources, Board Management, DPOExternal: Suppliers, Scientific Provider, Global Communications (Spain & US), EEMEA DistributorsMinimum Knowledge & Experience required for the positionEducation: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business communications or a related discipline.Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in business communications.Additional Skills/Knowledge:Experience in project managementLanguage: English (proficiency)Software: SAP, DEM, Microsoft Office Suite, CMSEvent management in HealthcareDigital skillsSocial media managementSkills & CapabilitiesGreat Team playerCreativityStrong verbal and writter communication skillsStrong organizational skillsProactivityAble to work well with diverse groups of peopleProblem solvingTravel requirements Up to 20% of time
