Mission:
Guarantee technical/specialist support for commissioning activities.
Contribute to the achievement of specific and measurable objectives related to commissioning under the coordination of more experienced resources.
Accountabilities: Provides technical/specialist support to site teams for problems related to commissioning activities.Prepares and delivers technical training interventions for the benefit of site personnel or the customer.Supports site personnel in solving particularly complex commissioning interventions.Coordinates commissioning interventions of particular complexity at the site, if needed.Performs troubleshooting, analyzing malfunctions and identifying causes.Performs repair operations following testing procedures.Conducts functional testing of the system subject to the intervention.Fills in fault reports and intervention forms, entering them into the HRI information system.Ensures compliance with workplace safety regulations for the area of competence.Enters rolling stock operating data into the company information system.Required Skills/Knowledge: Experience performing the aforementioned accountabilities.Mechanical or Electrical technology/Associate Degree or equivalent technical background.Minimum 3 years working on railway or automotive projects in warranty or maintenance roles.Previous work in the train transport system or automotive industry as a system technician/integrator is a plus.Willingness to take on big challenges with large-scale railway or automotive projects.Able to perform mechanical and electrical circuit engineering.Ability to place mechanical and electrical systems into service.Ability to interpret contract specifications.Ability to read, understand, and interpret mechanical and electrical line drawings, schematics, and cable plans.Desired Skills/Knowledge: Previous experience in maintenance activities in the railway or automotive field.Management of operation and commissioning processes.Ability to manage and guide assigned resources and suppliers to perform troubleshooting activities.Knowledge and ability to use mechanical, electrical, and electronic tools.Ability to read and interpret HV-MV-LV functional diagrams.Knowledge and ability to use mechanical equipment/tools.Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and functional diagrams.Knowledge of subsystems and mechanical and pneumatic equipment installed on railway rolling stock.Availability to work on daily, night, and holiday shifts, both in Italy and abroad.Strong team working attitude and good relations with HR/customer/supplier technicians.Thank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail.
