Borgo Pignano is delighted to share an opportunity for a talented and passionate COMMIS DE RANG to join our team for the 2025 season.
Borgo Pignano is a 750 acre private estate hidden away in the hills and valleys of Tuscany whose ethos is a commitment to slow food, slow living and sustainable organic farming. The estate offers two different dining concepts: Ristorante Al Fresco, which offers an informal and relaxed dining experience with a focus on local and artisanal products, and Villa Pignano. The restaurant has been awarded a Michelin Green star and offers a sophisticated menu based on 0 KM products.
Responsibilities:Assist the Chef de Rang in welcoming guests upon arrival at the restaurantOrganize the restaurant following the Chef de Rang's directionsMonitor cleanliness with an eye on the detailsSupport the Chef de Rang for guest satisfactionPrepare all the requirements for the serviceKeep all the equipment in order and tidy up the communal areasIn charge of cleaning and setting up tables during various servicesLook after all aspects of the service until the end by creating wonderful memoriesRequirements:At least 1 year in the same position in the hospitality industryWork in a professional and friendly mannerProactively involved in teamwork and cooperate with every co-workerRespect for rulesPassion for service, courtesy, and discretionWell-groomed with good communication skillsGood knowledge of EnglishRespect for nature and the values that the earth representsOwn carBenefits:Shared accommodation and meals.
