The Gritti Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel belonging to Marriott International, is currently recruiting for a Commis de Cuisine. Reporting to the Executive Chef Alberto Fol, she/he will be part of a team of high-level professionals and culinary experts.
This is a full-time position starting in October.

What you'll be doing Prepare fresh ingredients for cooking according to recipes/menuCook food and prepare top-quality menu items in a timely mannerTest foods to ensure proper preparation and temperatureOperate kitchen equipment safely and responsiblyEnsure the proper sanitation and cleanliness of surfaces and storage containersWhat we're looking for Experience in the role in 5* hotels or fine dining restaurant is a big plusGreat teamwork skills and attention to detailPositive outlook and outgoing personalityThis role requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs. Standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods of time and ensuring a professional appearance in a clean uniform are also required. Prior to employment, we'll ask you to complete safety training and certification.
