**THE ROLE**
The Commercial team manages a broad range of activities including: revenue, contract, insurance, regulatory and environment & social governance (ESG) management in Italy, UK, US, Chile, Spain, Portugal, India and Poland, and is further expanding at pace.
The Commercial team works closely with WiseEnergy's Technical and Finance teams, and these three teams make-up WiseEnergy's asset management delivery function, working closely with a range of clients.
The Commercial team also supports WiseEnergy's Alpha and Project Development teams.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
**GENERAL**
- Managing and discharging pre-construction authorisation/permit requirements and associated registration activities with local authorities/municipalities, GAUDI, TERNA,Customs, grid operator, landowners, etc reporting to clients as necessary.
- Managing and discharging construction authorisation/permit requirements (e.g.
"Autorizzazione Unica" or others building permits in respect of "Regioni", "Provincie" or Municipalities).
- GSE management including:
- Auction bid submission(s)
- GSE inspections and attending site visits with GSE auditors, collection of supporting inspection documents using the GSE-UVI portal and follow-up to any questions;
- Ensuring compliance with the regulatory requirements during the operating phase of solar plants or in preparation for and following revamping works, e.g.
:
- GSE SIAD portal updates
- Reconciliation of the serial numbers of the modules used by a plant with the latest list of the serial numbers held by GSE
- Collection and assessment of the adequacy of the documents/information required to confirm the compliance of revamping projects and submission to GSE
- Collection, assessment of the completeness and submission of the documents/information required by "Agenzia delle Dogane" following a repowering project.
- Periodic activities with Customs and ARERA.

**EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS**
- Experience as Development/Asset Manager in the renewable energy market, preferably in solar in Italy.
- Recent experience of working with government departments including GSE, local authorities, Customs, ARERA, GAUDI and TERNA.
- Bachelor's Degree with quantitative focus (e.g., Engineering, Law, Business Administration, Environmental Science, Economics)
- Good understanding of Italian regulatory system in relation to renewable energy development and operating sites.
- The right to work in the EU.
