Combat System Specialist - NAVIRIS (Temporary position) JOB DESCRIPTION
NAVIRIS is looking for a temporary Combat System Specialist for its Engineering Department in Genoa (Italy).

The responsibilities of the Combat Systems Specialist include:
Contributing to the follow-up and coordination of the studies of the Combat system of HRZ destroyer as part of the MLU, considering selected changes of CS subsystems or equipment. Defining the list of new/updated rules and standards contributing to safety and interoperability for the MLU of HRZ destroyers. Attending technical meetings with OEMs and the PCs regarding the upgrade or addition of existing components of the CS, as required by the contract MLU HRZ. Ensuring that the studies related to the upgrade or addition of Combat Systems are correctly carried out by the OEMs and the PCs. Aggregating data related to proposed additions and upgrades for updating ship technical balances. Producing deliverables and ensuring technical homogeneity and validity of studies and documents. Planning and conducting necessary technical reviews with the WW Architects and engineering team members. Participating in coordination with suppliers for setting to work, tests, and trials. The CS Specialist will also act as SIF Manager, overseeing integration activities and tests of the PAAMS.
REQUIREMENTS
Engineering graduate (Master level) with proven experience as a CS specialist in complex Combat System development. Good knowledge of combat ships and combat system functional and physical trees. Professional English (speaking, writing, reading) is essential; Italian or French is a plus. Organized with proven leadership and communication skills. Able to interact with Governmental Authorities to ease industrial activities. Experience in Systems Integration, especially on CS platforms. Good general knowledge of combat systems such as Sonars, Guns, Optical and Optronic sensors, CMS, Networks, SS Missiles. Understanding of recognized standards and development processes such as ISO 15288 or Mil-Std 499. Ability to coordinate studies performed by various suppliers and interactions between design, procurement, and production. Experience in following the development of equipment and contributing to compliance with contractual requirements. #J-18808-Ljbffr
