As a Colour Automation Process Engineer, you will be responsible of the Supervision of Automation equipment for preparation and application of paints for the Car Refinish Business.Key Responsibilities• Supervision, setting and control of the various steps of paint Application Process of the Automated lines• Analysis and resolution of process errors, management of small mechanical maintenance activities, resolution of faults and process modifications on PLCs and/or machines• Supervision of process queues and database management• Supervision of supply of consumables and spare parts• Update of operational and safety procedures• Manual mode operation of robotic arms, automatic dispensers, paint spray guns• Cooperation with the Maintenance and EHS teams during ordinary and extraordinary maintenance activities of the plant and utilitiesQualificationsPrevious experience in Manufacturing FacilitiesKnowledge of Windows and Microsoft OfficeKnowledge and understanding of 5S and Safety and Environment guidelines.Good problem-solving skills.Good communication skillsGood data analysis skillsAbilityEducation (required) - Degree in Industrial Engineering (alternatively chemical, mechanical or automationLanguages – Fluent English written and spoken.Other preferred qualifications (optional):Previous experience with people managementBasical knowledge of software programmingBasical knowledge of PLCs (Rockwell or Siemens) and databasesBasical Knowledge of PowerBIPPG pay ranges and benefits can vary by location which allows us to compensate employees competitively in different geographic markets.
