Job DetailsJob Location : Milan, ILPosition Type : Full TimeSalary Range : $22.00 - $22.00 HourlyJob Shift : 2nd ShiftJob Category : WarehouseDescription The Color Lab Technician will be responsible for formulating custom colors for silicone filling production lines using advanced equipment. They will also be responsible for various tests to ensure the correct colors and quality of product as well as compliance with our customer requirements and quality processes.Primary Tasks:Match in-process samples with standard colors to determine color accuracy within productionOperate various pieces of lab equipment and tools to obtain various testing results that are utilized for compliance with customer requirements.Recording of testing results in our system.Communicate results and other information with the lab team and production in a timely manner.Use customer custom color standards to determine pigment formula which will be used in creating custom-colored silicones for production based on customer requirements.Maintain samples for specified time period deriving from customer requirements.Secondary Tasks:Providing support for internal and external audit teamsMaintaining a safe, clean and orderly work areaFinding and supporting opportunities for improved performance, cost-savings and efficiencyOther duties as assignedQualificationsEducation:High school diploma or equivalent.
