CNC Machinist Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in RIDC Park, Nidec Vamco Corporation is a fast growing manufacturer, and a global leader in design of high speed servo equipment for the metal stamping industry.

Position Summary: The CNC Machinist sets up and operates conventional and CNC machines and machining centers to fabricate metallic parts.

Essential Functions: Study blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements. Set up, operate, edit, and program CNC machines and machining centers. Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, and grinders. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED and/or vocational-technical school. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
