As an AWS Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing an AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure the optimal performance, scalability, and security of enterprise applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy cloud-based solutions that align with our business objectives. Leading by example, you will leverage your strengths and background in AWS cloud technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and fervor for quality, precision, and customer satisfaction to deliver exceptional solutions and services.

Job Duties: Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-scale AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security. Collaborate with development teams to architect and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and CloudFormation. Develop and maintain automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code templates to streamline the provisioning and management of cloud resources. Monitor and optimize the performance of AWS resources, implementing best practices for cost optimization and resource utilization. Implement and maintain cloud security controls, including identity and access management, network security, and data encryption. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance. Stay up to date with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices, and provide recommendations for their adoption within the organization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement cloud governance policies, compliance frameworks, and disaster recovery strategies. Participate in the design and implementation of hybrid cloud solutions, integrating on-premises infrastructure with AWS services. QUALIFICATIONS Education: Bachelor of Science in a Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Certification(s): AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or equivalent certification is required.
Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing AWS cloud infrastructure. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash. Strong understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. In-depth knowledge of cloud security best practices, including experience with AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM), VPC, and Security Groups. Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins or AWS CodePipeline. Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform. Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing. Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as AWS CloudWatch, Elastic Stack, or Prometheus. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a proven track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams. Experience working in an Agile development environment is highly desirable.
