Posting Date: 23 Oct 2024 City: Genova Location: Genova, IT, 16129 Contract Type: Permanent Division: Materials & Technologies Level of experience: Intermediate RINA is currently recruiting for a Cloud Architect to join its office in Genoa within the Materials & Technologies Division.
Mission Work closely with other architects, design team, business analysts and developers in order to develop and maintain web applications from front end to back end.
Propose and validate architecture and solutions for new applications and new features on existing solutions.
Key Accountabilities Lead developers, business analysts and offshore teams to implement new digital solutions and features.
Propose and validate Cloud-based architectures for digital solutions and features.
Actively contribute to development activities.
Select and validate proper technologies for digital solutions and features.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
Test and debug applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Participate in code reviews to provide and receive constructive feedback.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
Assist in the deployment and maintenance of web applications on various platforms.
Qualifications Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, including microservices, containers, and serverless computing.
Solid understanding and proficiency in cloud development, with expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
Solid understanding in Object Oriented Programming and experience with serverless computing and cloud managed services (e.g., Azure Functions, Azure App Services).
Understanding of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks.
Python as server-side language proficiency is a plus.
Experience with database management systems like CosmosDB, MongoDB, MySQL, etc.
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and experience integrating third-party APIs.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
