Clinical Associate Professor (Scenery/Props)

Clinical Associate Professor (Scenery/Props) Sands College of Performing Arts at Pace University is seeking a full-time Associate Clinical Professor to teach design and stagecraft courses (independently or collaboratively) and maintain a high level of support for the artistic production and academic goals of students and the University, including mentoring students and providing an educationally sound, safe, and satisfying experience for all theatre participants.
MFA and 2-3 years of experience in Theatre Production and teaching experience in a liberal arts setting are preferred, but BA/BFA and 5 years of experience may be considered. Desired theater experience: set and prop construction, rigging, welding, digital media, hand and CAD drafting. Lighting and sound experience is a plus. Other experience: supervising students in a work environment; strong organizational, interpersonal, supervisory and leadership skills; clear oral and written communication skills. A Valid Driver's License is required.
