Italy Solutions is currently seeking a Civil Engineer Junior (fresh graduates), reporting directly to the Engineering Infrastructure Head to join our Engineering team based in Italy, Rome Operating Center.
About the Job
You will work inside the Civil team that is in charge of the management of Proposals, Basic Engineering Design up to Detail Engineering Design. Key interactions of a Civil Engineer are internally with Project teams, Construction, and other engineering disciplines; externally with Clients and Suppliers. The role and your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Design Calculation:Detail design for static and dynamic equipment foundationDesign for basins, foundations for steel and/or concrete structuresDesign of elevated concrete structuresSheet piling for earth retention and pilesHydraulic calculation for underground networksModules, steel works of offshore platforms for offshore projectsVerification of existing structures; calculation of existing structures revamping/reinforcingSupport Services for Procurement:Technical Bid EvaluationPreparation of Material/Purchase requisitionApproval of Vendor design/drawing/documentsSupport for Procurement in Sub contractor/Consultant evaluationInterface with other discipline specialist engineers and project support functions such as procurement and planningEngineering/Project Management Activities:Participation in Project contract review meetingsParticipation in discipline contract reviews and Document/Drawings IndexSupport services for Schedule preparationSupport for preparation of project technical specifications in coordination with other disciplines; Inter departmental interfacesSupport to Construction department for preparation of Civil Construction Tender/OfferParticipation in Constructability reviewParticipation in Design review, Model reviewsQuantity/Material TrackingSupport subcontracting consultants for Architectural Designs, Survey works, Consultancy for Soil Investigations works and Structural Steel Fabricators/Consultants for Fabrication Drawings preparationSupport in review of the works performed by the above outsourcing consultants and recommendations for further engineeringCoordination with Construction/Engineering Sub contractors/Consultants on a project need basisWe offer you not only a job, but an inspiring journey in a truly global environment where you team up to break down boundaries thanks to the innovation, creativity, and pioneer spirit that drive our people.
