Essential Duties & Responsibilities: The individual performs the routine aspects of engineering assignments requiring knowledge and application of engineering principles. Using prescribed methods, performs specific portions of engineering assignments. Compiles, verifies, and correlates data relating to engineering problems. Assists in designs, studies, reports, and preparation of process deliverables. Performs calculations, simulations, and preliminary analyses. Uses computer programs as directed. Participates in preparation of material requisitions, specifications, and other related documents. Coordinates assigned work with other technical personnel as directed. Assists in development and verification of project controls documents and status reports. Skills, Experience & Qualifications: Background in ground improvement and reinforcement, retaining structures, and foundation engineering. At least basic experience in the use of the main geotechnics/structural software packages (e.g., Plaxis, Geostudio, Gint, Rocscience). Knowledge of civil/structural regulatory codes and standards, and design and/or layout criteria pertinent to the renewable discipline. Learning to be a consultant and/or designer - Able to produce quality deliverables within scope, schedule, and budget. Decisions: Few technical decisions called for, of routine nature with ample precedent or clearly defined procedures and guidelines. Receives operational supervision and technical guidance from more senior engineers. May provide technical direction as appropriate to others who perform specific design support assignments. Able to follow through on commitments. Ability to articulate well in written communications evolving into technical writing proficiency. Practices safe behaviors in the field and office settings. Willing to perform any task put in front of them. Accepts and seeks out coaching and feedback – Shows willingness and ability to apply feedback. Able to manage personal workload and multiple commitments. Demonstrates growth potential both from soft skill and technical skill perspectives. Understands the importance of building a network across the business unit. Required: Experience as Project Engineer. Structural calculation, foundation dimensioning, roads design, Geology, Geotech. Deep knowledge of the authorization process for Renewables in Italy. Design of Renewable plants (PV, AgroPV, Wind onshore). BESS and OSW is a plus. Constraint analysis (national, regional, provincial, local level). Softwares: Plaxis, Geostudio, Gint, Rocscience, HEC-RAS, AutoCAD, Civil3D, Office Package.
