Areas of Responsibility:The candidate will work in the Execution Design Department, part of the Engineering Development Department, directly reporting to the Head of Execution Design.Engineering Development Dept is composed by three main areas, Project Management, Feasibility Eng, Execution Design and Construction, and the candidate will be responsible for the design of wind and PV plants, in Italy and abroad. The main activities, performed through all project phases, will be: analyze and optimize the project layout including but not limited to the external access, roads, platforms, foundations, technical estimation, CapEx cost analysis, etc.manage external designers, check all the related design documents applying the Company technical specifications, international and local quality standardsmaintain regularly updated the project files and documentation providing with updated reporting on weekly or monthly basis (project reports)support PMs in managing relationships with public authorities involved in the pre-construction phase (i.e. road authorities, public authorities checking the civil design) needed to discharge any prescription or planning condition subsequent to the consent/building permit approvalevaluate products, materials, components and processes by applying quality standards and best practices in the civil engineering fieldattend to site visits, transport surveys, quality tests (in factory and/or in the worksite)support PMs and Cost Control manager in estimating the costs for the civil activities of the projectssupport the Company Procurement Dept. and the PMs in the preparation of the tender phase, providing with the Technical Specifications, contract clauses and bidders evaluation The candidate will work in several project teams involving different departments of the Company like Feasibility Eng, Project Scheduling & Cost Control, Construction, Procurement, Legal, Real Estate, Permitting and Operations.The candidate will manage external entities like Designers, Contractors (BoP, manufacturer), Grid Operators, Public AuthoritiesAll the activities performed by the candidate must ensure highest levels of compliance with applicable rules and best practices in terms of HSE, Quality, supporting PMs in Time and Cost optimization.Studies:MSc in Civil Engineering.Work Experience:No experience needed.Languages:Italian: fluent English: fluentAn additional European language is a plusIT Skills:Deep knowledge of all Microsoft Office Applications, MS Project is a plusAutoCAD, GIS, Global MapperSpecific civil engineering software: geotechnical and structural design, FEM modelling is a plus Know – How & Managerial Skills: Geotechnical, Structural, Road engineering specific know howcontributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededmust possess uncompromised commitment to qualitypro-active, enthusiastic, capable of working in teamstrong ethics and corporate loyalty Additional Information:The Candidate will have regular travels to the construction project sites or to the external suppliers offices located in Italy and abroad.
