We are now looking for a Chief Project Engineer to join our team.
The preferred location for the position is in Diano d'Alba, Italy.
What will you be doing? In this position, your work will include:
Preparing NAV-Com engineering drawings. Performing field service activities according to the work plan including survey, project start-up, and daily visits on board for any kind of failure and refit activity to be performed on the ship during drydock operation. You will not be working on this alone, even though the work requires a high level of independence, as you will have the support from our Navigation Field Service Technicians.
For us to be the best match, we expect you to have a strong electrotechnical and Bridge equipment background.
As Chief Project Engineer, you will gain knowledge on the following systems:
Integrated Navigation System (Radar and ECDIS) - NACOS Platinum. VDR (mainly from Danelec). Navigation sensors, such as GPS, Echosounders, SpeedLogs, AIS, and Weather. GYROs (mainly from Anschuetz). Steering system (mainly from Anschuetz). Requirements for the position A bachelor's degree in engineering, such as mechanical, electrical, or marine, or a related field is recommended.
You are driven, open-minded, and self-motivated.
You easily interact with people from all organizational levels, building bridges and creating connections, and you are accustomed to working in a global organization.
Fluency in written and spoken English is a must.
Availability to travel within Italy and abroad is required.
