As Chief Product Officer, you'll be responsible for leading the entire strategic product direction. It includes product vision, product innovation, product design, product development, project management, and product marketing. The CPO role is a key member of the senior management team, reporting only to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). You will lead the team in building great products that deliver sustainable value to the business. From the early stages of developing a new product concept to beyond product launch, a CPO balances the needs and goals of both the product and the business. Responsibilities Develop and implement product strategies consistent with the company vision. Collect and analyse feedback from customers, stakeholders and other teams to shape requirements, features and end products. Recommend product development strategies that generate increased revenue through sales of the new product. Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Marketing and Customer Success teams. Produce and review product requirements documents (PRD). Work with senior management to create product plans and roadmaps. Drive scalable processes and innovation around the product development cycle. Develop metrics and KPIs to measure the success of products and identify areas for improvement. Make creative recommendations to expand the product base and vision. Ensure products and releases are launched correctly and on schedule. Suggest ways to track product use and impact on end users. Requirements Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role in startup companies. Extensive experience in product lifecycle management. Background in software development and program management is preferred. Expert level experience and certifications within/around Agile/SCRUM frameworks. Proven organizational and leadership abilities to take products to market. Excellent communication skills, team development, hiring and team career nurturing skills. Passionate about the customers and demonstrated experience at building a relationship with them. Experience interpreting customer needs and market trends. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Applied problem-solving and creative thinking aptitude and skillsets.
