**Who are we looking for**
We are looking for an enthusiastic **Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)** who is full of ideas and energy to take ShippyPro to the next level of growth.
It's an exciting time in logistics and ShippyPro has a unique **opportunity to disrupt the shipping space at a global level**.
Our next mission is to empower brands to offer the delivery experience consumers want when they shop online.
After raising our Series A of 5 Millions dollars from Five Elms Capital, a US VC, and experiencing an exponential product adoption by few of the best ecommerce brands in Italy, we are ready to scale internationally.
We are looking for a real hands-on CMO who **has grown a startup marketing team** through analytics, technology, creativity, multichannel advertising with a strong international experience.
**TASKS**
- Own all of ShippyPro's marketing efforts, including defining and leading marketing strategy, building and leading the marketing organization, and tying all our efforts into our Go to Market strategy
- Generate revenue by increasing sales and growth through successful marketing for the entire organization and portfolio companies using market research, pricing, marketing communications, advertising, and public relations
- Design effective campaigns that communicate our brands in a way that resonates with and motivates our target market, driving increased sales and acquisitions
- Find scalable marketing channels across all forms of digital media via testing & iteration
- Provide ongoing tracking, measurement, KPI, and ROI analysis for marketing initiatives and campaigns to provide clear, actionable insights
- Oversee the development of product marketing, messaging, and storytelling for a broad set of target customers
- Partner closely with CRO, Product and Customer Success to help them achieve their revenue goals
- Ensure the growth and development of team members through team leadership, skills coaching, and career mentorship to ensure performance expectations are met, and team members can pursue personal career goals
**REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor's degree required; an MBA or equivalent experience is desirable
- **10+ years of marketing experience for a high-growth consumer products business**:
- Strong International Experience and experience with developing international relationships
- **Strong knowledge and understanding of the ecommerce industry**:
- You've led a whole marketing organization, ideally you have a demand generation background and more recently took ownership of a brand
- **You've seen the journey from $5m to $30 ARR**:
- Strong Knowledge of CRM Management (knowledge of Hubspot is a plus).
- A team player with outstanding communication and presentation skills in English, another language is a plus
- **You have experience with high velocity B2B SaaS (but B2C works too), with an annual contract value between $1k and $100k.
** You're able to spot opportunities for improvement in our current growth engine
- Experience leading marketing at a company or startup in hypergrowth and growing a startup marketing team through analytics and technology
- Demonstrated track record of delivering on multi-channel growth metrics, such as web traffic, leads, client conversions, and revenue generation
- Deep experience developing strategy and executing acquisition programs and has deep expertise in trade-offs affecting engagement, retention, and not only acquisition
- Experience with Budget and P&L
- Great at building and maintaining relationships, fostering an environment of mutual respect, understanding, and trust
- A passion for consumers and a deep understanding of tomorrow's groundbreaking technologies and innovation trends
