Job Description The Chief Improvement Officer (CIO), reporting directly to the Owner, will oversee and implement strategic initiatives aimed at improving overall organisational and manufacturing performances.
This role involves assessing current processes, identifying areas for improvement, and collaborating with various departments to drive change and achieve operational excellence.
The CIO will be responsible for the following tasks: Analyse financial and operational results, proposing strategies to enhance profitability and growth.
Conduct thorough analyses of existing processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions.
Oversee the daily operations of the company, ensuring efficiency and alignment with the overall business strategy.
Develop and implement operational processes and best practices to optimise performance.
Lead cross-functional projects aimed at process improvements and performance enhancements.
Utilise data analytics to inform the CEO and measure the impact of improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with the CEO and management team to define and execute long-term strategies.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and manage company resources effectively.
Manage relationships with external partners and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication.
The Successful Applicant The ideal candidate has preferably a Master's degree from Top Universities in business, management, or a related field; MBA highly appreciated.
Proven experience in industrial manufacturing process improvement, project management, or operations management, preferably in strategic consulting firms, private equity investment teams, or corporate strategy departments of listed manufacturing companies.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; proficiency in data analysis tools; familiarity with improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
Fast-paced and strategic thinkers with a focus on results, demonstrated ability to lead and influence teams across various functions, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to drive change and foster a culture of continuous improvement are essential elements.
