Chief Financial Officer The Chief Financial Officer will report to the Board and his/her mission is to drive and control outputs on the financial European area in order to support overall performance and create alert on the key critical issues. The manager will act as a real business partner for all functions, at European level, in order to improve the effectiveness of the problem solving on the emerging topics. Furthermore, the position is responsible for continuously improving processes and procedures in order to optimize costs and sustainability and to achieve the company's performance. He/she will be in charge of the whole finance, controlling & administration department, including risk and credit management. Key Responsibilities: Supporting the Board of Directors in the development of the company strategy across all areas of the business monitoring the ongoing performance; Planning and control activities with a focus on the business; Monthly P&L and management reporting, quarterly and annual reporting, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis to HQ (detailed schedules); Cash flow, cash pooling developing and management, factoring and reverse factoring management, and other financial topics; Statutory and financial statement according to local GAAP, IFRS and PRC GAAP accounting principles; Accounting activities coordination (general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and treasury); Controlling activities management, production cost analysis system set up, metal result analysis to meet HQ's requirement; Risk and credit management, supply chain related process monitor; 'Ad hoc' reporting and financial evaluation for the Board of Directors; Tax returns and transfer pricing policy definition, tax compliance management; Developing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures; Organize the annual audit and services communication, engagement, audit reporting reviewing, finalizing and disclosure (legal entities audit, combination audit, tax audit, EEG, EMIR, etc.); Organize annual and semi-annual physical stocktaking and reporting; Support the implementation of ERP system; Investment project feasibility analysis and decision supporting; Assets valuation, goodwill impairments testing and appraisal; Relationships with external counterparts (banks, auditors, tax advisors, board of statutory auditors and service providers); Supporting the development of ERP systems; Leading current FICO teams located in 5 different countries including a Cost Center in China. Ideal Candidate: His/her main professional and personal skills: Bachelor's degree in Economics or equivalent; At least 10 years background and proven management experience, mainly in Controlling and Financial Planning, acquired in multinational companies operating in industrial business sectors. Currently he/she plays the role of CFO/Finance Director within an international environment; Result-oriented manager, able to use planning and revision processes of economic-financial results. During his/her career has proved to be attentive to the processes, sensitive to business and familiar with the use of IT management systems; Structured, accurate and reliable manager able to accomplish with the company's business model and its competitive environment; Positive, transparent and charismatic manager with a strong problem-solving approach and excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese, German language is a plus. The position is based in Berlin, Germany. Frequent business travels to the other plants located in Germany, France, Italy, and Spain.
