Job Description The Chief Financial Officer will be proactively involved to develop and guide the Administration, Finance and Control function by monitoring processes, procedures and activities.
The Chief Financial Officer will support the Management Team in strategic decisions and in achieving corporate objectives.
Moreover:
Supervise the controlling process flow, from the structuring of an analytical accounting and reporting model to the budgeting and monitoring company performance, as well as supporting the corporate strategy.
Manage relations with credit institutions, cash flows (by controlling working capital and investment activities), NFP (including the management of the acquisition financing).
Prepare the budget plans and elaborate the monthly economic, patrimonial and financial reports of the company.
Interact with the CEO, the Board of Directors and the shareholders to define and share business trend, corporate and function objectives and budgets.
Develop and supervise creation of complex financial models, valuation analysis, investment memos, board materials and other presentations.
Own reporting and compliance responsibilities, including performance reports and ongoing valuation analysis for the benefit of Client leadership, Board of Directors, LPs, and as part of regulatory requirements.
Assist senior leadership in the future fundraising process, including performing in-depth research related to market trends/dynamics, industries, and verticals, helping shape investment theses, and preparing marketing materials.
Measure the company performance using reporting tools and analyse deviations in budget, implementing corrective actions where possible and within its competence.
Ensure administrative and accounting processes, procedures and activities, also guaranteeing correct compliance with administrative, accounting and tax obligations.
Manage relations with consulting and auditing firms and legal advisors.
The Successful Applicant Bachelors and master's degree preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or Science from a top-tier university, with strong academic credentials.
At least 15 years of previous experience (essential), with at least 5 in the role of Chief Financial Officer gained within companies with considerable management complexity where he/she has acquired administrative / financial skills and at least 6-7 years in Big Four transaction services.
A previous work experience within the fields of private equity would be appreciated.
Expertise in IFRS and consolidated.
Having actively participated in corporate transactions both in entry and in exit; having participated in the exit of a company held by a private equity fund will be considered a preferential requirement.
Excellent knowledge and management skills of the entire controlling cycle.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all company levels.
Expertise in legal, tax and corporate matters.
In-depth knowledge and familiarity with Excel.
Fluent in English.
