ABOUT THE ROLE: As part of the executive management team, the CFO will oversee all financial matters and lead the company towards business and organizational growth.
Working alongside the founders and all company stakeholders, the role will hold immense responsibility and take charge of delicate company matters.
RESPONSIBILITIES: As a member of the senior management, you will be responsible for all financial matters of the company.
Recommend strategic actions to the CEO and members of the executive management team.
Oversight of finance, accounting, and controlling.
Responsible for legal and tax regulatory matters relating to transactions, compliance, and risk management.
Ensure a high level of quality in all work practices.
Continuous development and optimization of processes in order to improve departments' performances.
Management of ERP system put in place and any other BI tools used within the company.
Project management and management of outsourced services.
Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors.
WHO YOU ARE: University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or related disciplines.
An MBA is a strong plus.
Experience in a multinational environment is mandatory.
Strong financial and accounting background, including an understanding of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management, and general finance and budgeting.
Significant relevant work experience in a finance leadership role with operational responsibilities, ideally in a fund or in the financial services industry (e.g.
FinTech).
Previous experience within the private equity sector and/or Venture Capital sector is a strong plus.
Evident track record of setting up structures and process optimization.
Knowledge of Italian and European investment solutions and products.
Passionate about numbers and technology.
Self-starter mindset, who is a strong team player able to take on ownership in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Fluency in English and Italian is required; any other European language is a plus.
